My Weekly Monty Clay Mask

Every weekend, I make it a point to give myself a facial, and a very important part of that routine is clay. Available in our shop, Monty Clay is a godsend. A dry powder, it can be mixed with most anything to create a couture mask that suites my skin and it's changing needs. There is something so vey satisfying about this mask. At the end of the treatment, my skin is super soft, taught, and balanced.

On sale this week, Monty Clay is effective and versatile. I like to mix it with warm milk, warm tea, or a warm latte (tea steeped in hot milk). For tired skin, I use a caffeinated tea like black chai. To soothe my skin, I use peppermint or chamomile. To manage acne, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar and water will do. In any clay recipe, add a tablespoon of honey for moisture. Warm milk and honey is one of my favorite combinations.

The possibilities are endless with this mask. I indulge in this little piece of self care every weekend. After about 25 minutes, I remove the mask with a hot wash cloth before gently washing my face, spraying with soothing rose water, and finishing with avocado oil. All natural and clean. There are no chemicals in my routine and this is what keeps my skin looking good and staying young. Chemicals will only decay your beauty over time as your skin and body rejects them. Try the clay. You'll love it. I promise.
