I'm on a mission to try different salts this summer and I have started this excursion with Applewood Smoked Sea Salt.
Cooking meat with this little gem brings that fresh-off-the-grill taste to my food.
After using it just once, I have been looking for all sorts of unusual ways to use the salt and have found it uniquely tasty on grill friendly fruits like peaches and pineapples, as long as they are super ripe and very sweet. I also like it on anything chocolate.
The duplicity in tastes is titillating, to say the very least.
Try a smoked salt and put that sh*t on everything!
