When I was about 7 years old, my mother taught me how to organize a closet. Over 30 years later, and I am a wizard when it comes to pulling a closet together. So, as I am organizing my new place, I am excited to pull my clothes out of boxes, and place them on new hangers, and in my closets. Today, it's all about the coat closet, and organizing this space is simpler than organizing a main closet.
Most jackets and coats have collars and long sleeves, so I don't have to worry so much about organizing by color type and sleeve length. Yes. That's a thing. And we'll get into that when we talk about my main closet. For now, all we have to worry about is color, even more than coat length.
