The Benefits of Full Body Exfoliating

Most everyone knows the importance of exfoliating their faces, and if you don't, you should. But what most people never think about is exfoliating their entire bodies –– but that ends now. The ugly truth is that if you aren't exfoliating your entire body, you aren't getting clean. The uglier truth is that most people are walking around dirty. No one likes to think of themselves are dirty, but most people just are, and if you're washing with a washcloth only, you're dirty too. What I'm trying to do here is gross you out, so that you will take the following recommendation into consideration. God, I hope it's working.

Are you using white towels and sheets? Or are you one of those people who believe that keeping white towels and sheets clean is an impossible task, and something meant only for the service industry, with their special cleaning services and whatnot. At our house, everything is white, even the sheets and towels in my teenager's room –– the kid has never used a colored sheet or towel in his life.

And you know why?

Because I need to see the dirt. I need to know who's dirty and who's clean. I need to see who's bathing correctly and who's lolly-gagging in the shower, and nothing is more telling than white sheets and towels.

The Gift That Keeps on Giving:

Now, in order to ensure our lines stay as white as they can for as long as they can, I have equipped everyone with a pair of exfoliating gloves. In fact, I buy them for friends and family for holidays and birthdays, too. There is no one I have introduced to the wonder of exfoliating gloves who hasn't had their lives exponentially changed.

And the ultimate test?

When you step out of the bath or the shower, can you dry off with a crisp, white towel and not see one single stitch of dirt? I'm talking, around your neck, under your arms, behind your knees, and around your ankles –– can you swipe a white towel past any of these areas without marking the towel? Even after your filthiest day? Yeah, this is why you need the gloves. Plus, unlike salt or sugar scrubs, exfoliating gloves are reusable, lasting a year or more with daily use!
