Review: The Honest Company: Sea Salt and Sugar Body Scrub

As The Honest Company continues to expand their product line, we continue to test and (mostly) love their wares. Up next is their new Sea Salt and Sugar Body Scrub.

This scrub is so awesomely moisturizing. The salt and sugar crystals do their job, as to be expected, exfoliating and polishing your skin. The shea butter and almond oil work to hydrate your skin, simultaneously leaving it smooth, glowing, and very, very soft.

What's In and What's Out:

As always, The Honest Company has been kind enough to leave out all the yucky things you will often find in other body scrubs, like:

  • parabens
  • microbeads
  • phthalates
  • polypropylene
  • SLS
  • sulfates
  • fragrances
  • dyes
  • propylene glycol
  • butylene glycol
  • steareth-n
  • PEGs
  • EDTA
  • DEA
  • BHT
  • linalool
  • paraffin
  • mineral oil
  • most common allergens

hew! That's a lot! This scrub is naturally scented with vanilla and lavender oils, as you can see from its list of ingredients:

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Sucrose (Sugar), Sodium Chloride (Sea Salt), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Silica, Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla) Fruit Oil, Tocopherol (Non-GMO)
*Organic Ingredient
